Dr. James Kigera joins the Department of Human Anatomy

The department of Human Anatomy congratulates and welcomes Dr. James Williams Kigera (pictured above)  as a lecturer. Dr. Kigera is an orthopaedic surgeon. He holds a MBChB and a Master of Medicine in Orthopaedics and a Diploma in Applied Clinical Research and Evidence Based Medicine from Makerere University. He has undertaken fellowships with the prestigious Orthocarolina group in the United States of America and the Sanchetti Institute of Orthopaedics and Trauma in India. Dr. Kigera is the honorary secretary of the Kenya Orthopaedics Association and the associate editor of the Annals of African Surgery. He also serves in the Collaboration for Evidence Based Healthcare in Africa.

Dr. Kevin Ongeti (pictured above) has been promoted from tutorial fellow to lecturer at the department of Human Anatomy. Dr. Ongeti is a holder of B.Sc. (Anatomy), M.B.Ch.B., M.Sc (Anatomy). He is currently pursuing a PhD in Anatomy. He is also the current Managing Editor of the Anatomy Journal of Africa
